AFL
Australian Football (AFL) is probably the Australia’s most popular sport. ‘Aussie Rules began utilising cricket ovals in winter, the cricket off-season, and so the play area is based on the cricket oval. This sharing of playing facilities continues today in many locations. Although natural turf surfaces are still the standard, times are changing. The AFL and Cricket Australia (CA) have jointly investigated synthetic and hybrid alternatives and licensed selected suppliers to develop an approved surface for non-elite competition. Turf One is a leading sports field contractor and a registered installer of accredited AFL/CA synthetic turf products. We have decades of experience designing and constructing natural and synthetic playing fields that perform to the highest standards. Additionally, we work closely with FieldTurf and Beynon, global leaders in synthetic playing surfaces, to be always able to provide the latest technology and innovation in surface layer materials.

RUBBER
RUBBER
Rubber (Ambient) is an environmental, cost-efficient, and durable solution that has withstood the test of time. Processed through a rubber cracker mill at ambient temperature, the result is a more jagged rubber granule than its cryogenic cousin, creating a looser infill with air pockets which can lead to infill migration.
COOLPLAY
COOLPLAY
Low temperature. FieldTurf’s exclusive and innovative extruded composite (EC) top dressing allows the CoolPlay system to deliver the same behavior and overall stability as FieldTurf’s Elite system fields found in the world’s most famous stadiums. CoolPlay takes nothing away from performance… except the heat.
